Back to School Cookies

There are so many great cookie designs with a back to school theme. This year, I choose to go with a clever little bookworm, a shiny gold star, and some fancy red apples. Then I added some chalkboard cookies and painted on the the chalk writings.
This is one of my favorite sets and I think they made some kids really happy!

Samples for Summer Cookie Decorating Classes

Father's Day cookies! Here's the samples for the class. (sorry about the bad phone pics)
Private cookie decorating parties are fun for work groups or birthdays or just a friends night out. We did this set a couple times this summer for some great groups.

More Girly BYU Cookies

So here's my favorite BYU set with a few slight changes. I have a new confetti stencil (which I LOVE) that was perfect in blue and silver.
The oval Y logos are also stenciled with a tiny paw print background. Makes them even more adorable!
I ♥︎ BYU!

Flowers!

I did this order for a party to celebrate a preschool teacher's 20 years of teaching. They requested pink and red flowers so I got to pull out a variety of flower shape cutters. It was fun to add all the details to each flower and then I sprayed them with some simmer to give them a little shine.

Canning Jar Mother's Day Cookies

These were some options for Mother's Day sets this year.
The berries and daisies are so cute together!

Manly Man Birthday Cookies

My Dad is the best. His birthday party was a great family reunion where we played games and the kids won lots of candy and prizes. I made these tool cookies with stenciled woodgrain handles and shiny silver metal parts because my Dad can fix or build anything.
The Happy Birthday plaques were more woodgrain and so glossy!

Then I put them with some more birthday theme cookies - cupcakes, candles, hearts, ice cream cones. Everything got a little airbrushing on the edges for some aging.
I love this set! It was fun to make and give to the best Dad ever. Love you Dad!

Birthday Berries

Strawberry cookies for a birthday? Yes, please!
These were made with a chocolate dough so they were super delicious.
I would love some cookies like this for my birthday!

Easy Stenciled Easter Cookies

For our Easter cookie class, I taught how to make these adorable eggs, bunnies, and baby chicks. The chicks are some of my favorites with their fluffy looking sugar feathers. But those polka dot bunnies are just too cute to eat too!
In the class, the students played with several stencil designs and colors of spray. They came up with some really great egg designs too!

Favorite BYU Cookies

This set of BYU cookies was super fun to make. It is one of my most requested sets!
These went to a huge BYU fan for a party!

Valentine Heart Cookies

These were for a class in February. We did all kids of wet-on-wet techniques and played with the basic heart shape. It was really cool to see what the ladies came up with!

Stenciled Nativity Cookies

These are some of my favorite Christmas cookies to make. I did simplify the design from the year before and opted to put them on a platter with unfrosted star cookies that I airbrushed with a gold shimmer.

I love how they are about the real reason for Christmas!
It's celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christmas Angels, Reindeer, and Trees

This set of Christmas cookies was our decorating class in December. The angel cutter is one of my favorites! Simple but classic Christmas shapes!
And look at those reindeer! Their little white spots and white tails are adorable!

Sailboat Cookies

I did these cookies for my women's conference at church. They were kinda cute with plain sails, but adding the airbrushed stenciling and some shimmer made them even better! Everything's cuter with some shimmer. I wish I had a nicer pic to show just how cute they were! They were handed out to all the ladies, wrapped in cello bags and tied with ribbons.

Graduation Cookies with Donuts & Basketballs

So my son, Ryan, graduated from high school. We had a great party with his favorite treats - donuts! Every flavor, shape, size. And cookie donuts! He's also a huge basketball guy so a few balls were added to the platter. He's such a fun loving kid!
The sunburst stenciling and the basketball texture are great effects from airbrushing. Some stripes and shimmer on the stars really dressed up this set.

Spring Flower Cookies for Prom

So, I guess it's time to get caught up. I've had a break from posting, but not baking!
These cookies turned out so pretty! They were for my son's prom dinner at his friend's house.
I love the colors and the lacy stenciling.
